Job Opportunity

The Contract Logistics Information Systems Lead Solution Designer Specialist is responsible for leading the solution design for highly diverse and complex projects. They will act as an independent Solution Designer role or as part of a larger team, designing the system landscape and its integration to facilitate operational processes.

This key role involves mentoring Senior Solution Designers and/or Solution Design Specialists, as well as being involved in consultancy and Solution Design reviews for other ventures. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently at all levels within the organisation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Creation and consultancy of IS Solution Designs for diverse and complex projects.
  • Translation of operational requirements into IS Processes.
  • Involvement of IS Experts (e.g., TMS/Automation).
  • IS Landscape Creation/Review.
  • EDI/API Communication Creation/Review.
  • IS Concept Creation/Review/Advice.
  • Support/Review/Challenge of IS Estimation (Cost & Effort) per site.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding of the logistics industry, specifically warehousing and distribution.
  • Excellent understanding of warehousing and distribution-related operational and IS processes.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Senior Solution Designer Specialist in any project type.
  • Accumulate at least 100 MD in Lead Designer function for complex projects.
  • Lead at least 2 complex projects, supervising and coaching others.

Desirable Certifications

  • GCT for non-engineers.
  • SCT.
  • Advanced KN SwiftLOG Concepts.
  • Moca and Integrator Trainings.
  • CCBA Certification.

Fluency in English is essential for this role.
