Job Title: Audio Visual Equipment Specialist


A challenging and rewarding role has become available in our institution, where you will be responsible for the management of all Audio Visual equipment. Your duties will include setting up, testing and operating sound, light, and Audio Visual systems during various school events such as meetings, assemblies, sports day, and speech day.


We are seeking a skilled individual with excellent technical knowledge to manage inventory and loan records of Audio Visual and ICT equipment, cables, sound systems, etc. You will also provide consultation services to the Head of Department/ICT and Subject Head/ICT on the Audio Visual needs of the school.


Your key responsibilities will include managing Audio Visual equipment in classrooms and other special rooms, monitoring equipment usage, and carrying out annual maintenance. You will also coordinate with vendors on repair services and manage the loan and condemnation of Audio Visual and ICT equipment and accessories.


To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. As an Audio Visual Equipment Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support teachers to effectively utilize digital signage and AV systems for school-wide communication.


In addition to your primary responsibilities, you may be required to train CCA Information Technology Club students to operate the Public Address System during assemblies and other activities, prepare CD players and batteries for school and national examinations, burn CDs for examinations and school events, assist in taking photographs and recording videos for school events and ad-hoc activities, convert video tapes to CDs, and assist in troubleshooting simple Audio Visual and ICT equipment issues.
