Job Title: Senior Risk Management Specialist

Overview:

This is a highly specialized role within the organization, requiring an experienced professional with expertise in internal audit and risk management. The successful candidate will have strong exposure to global markets, enabling them to effectively evaluate control effectiveness across front-to-back processes.

The ideal candidate will lead and execute end-to-end audits of Global Markets activities, including trading, sales of treasury products, structuring, and asset liability management. They will also be responsible for conducting risk assessments and contributing to the annual audit planning process, incorporating emerging risks and regulatory developments.

To excel in this role, the candidate should possess excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills. They must also have a strong understanding of treasury products, market risk, and regulatory expectations in the Singapore context.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute end-to-end audits of Global Markets activities
  • Evaluate control effectiveness across front-to-back processes
  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to the annual audit planning process
  • Deliver clear, concise audit reports with actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with overseas audit teams on cross-border assignments
Requirements:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in internal audit or risk/control functions
  • Strong understanding of treasury products, market risk, and regulatory expectations
  • Familiarity with Murex or similar trading platforms
  • Business intelligent tools (e.g., SAS, QlikSense)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
