Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cloud computing team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems and applications.

Your primary focus will be on deploying patches, upgrades, and fixes using cloud computing skills, particularly in AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. You will also create and maintain monitoring and alerting facilities throughout the entire application stack.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will liaise with developers, third-party software vendors, and cloud vendors to manage and resolve incidents and technical issues. You will work closely with cloud platform and solution architects to adapt and comply with enterprise and platform change directives.

Furthermore, you will identify and remediate audit findings or failures in security controls. You will automate data, processes, and security controls to provide operational support, and prepare and maintain technical and operational documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience in configuring DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus, and Nexus IQ
  • Experience in setting up continuous integration/continuous deployment processes and tools
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Kibana
  • Experience in application development and setting up middleware
  • Experience in management and remediation of security vulnerabilities
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and services, e.g., SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing
