Awnings Supervisor Job Opportunity

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Awnings Supervisor to oversee the production, installation, and maintenance of high-quality awnings and sails.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and standards. They will also play a key role in mentoring and training junior staff members.

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Laying out canvas, plastic, rubber, and other materials and fabricating and assembling them into sails, awnings, tents, and tarpaulins.
  • Cutting patterns from paper according to full-scale drawings.
  • Marking outlines on materials with crayons.
  • Cutting materials with shears or power cutters.
  • Sewing sections of materials together on power sewing machines.
  • Installing grommets, metal fittings, and fasteners by machine.
  • Examining completed sails for conformance to specifications.
 
Additional Requirements:
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participating in quality control processes.
