Job Title: Expert Legal Advisor for Strategic Procurement Partnerships

About the Role:

This exciting new position is designed to provide expert legal guidance on procurement contracts, negotiations, and supplier issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial contracts background, preferably from a law firm or multinational corporation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and leading negotiations on global supply agreements to support business objectives. They will also collaborate with regional legal teams, manage external counsel, and coordinate consistent legal support across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and lead negotiations on global supply agreements to support business objectives.

  • Provide expert legal guidance on procurement contracts, negotiations, and supplier issues to ensure adherence to internal policies.

  • Collaborate with regional legal teams, manage external counsel, and coordinate consistent legal support across jurisdictions.

  • Develop and maintain procurement contract templates and deliver training on best practices for contract management and negotiation.

  • Support dispute resolution, implement risk management processes, and drive robust governance in procurement activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with approximately 5-9 years' post-qualification experience.

  • Holds a relevant university degree.

  • Strong commercial contracts experience, ideally from a law firm and/or multinational corporation in-house.

  • Procurement and supply chain legal experience is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Singapore and English/Common law; other legal systems are a plus.

  • Proficient in English.
