This role requires a skilled professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign tasks to team members based on operational priorities and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with shifters to arrange container deliveries and delegate tasks to operations assistants.
  • Evaluate and escalate any delays in container arrivals or operational challenges to the Assistant Supervisor/Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Cultivate collaboration within the team and across departments.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new team members in warehouse processes and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Possess a valid forklift license.
  • Demonstrate basic computer literacy.
  • Proven ability to work independently while leading a team effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Warehousing experience.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Inventory control expertise.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
