Our School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences hosts programmes in physics, mathematics, and related subjects, with around 1,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, 80 faculty members, and 180 research staff.
We are seeking an established scientist with a strong track record of scientific excellence in Quantum Science and Technology to lead our research directions, oversee recruitment, launch grant proposals, and develop plans to improve NTU's research and education in this field.
The successful candidate will also teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, participate in administrative activities typical for a tenured full-time faculty position at a leading global university, conduct high-quality research contributing to progress in Quantum Science and Technology, participate in scientific activities to raise NTU's profile in Quantum Science and Technology, supervise students and undertake administrative roles as assigned by the School and/or University.
Key Requirements:
  • PhD in Physics or a related discipline.
  • A strong record of research, including peer-reviewed publications.
  • Experience securing competitive research grants and supervising researchers.
