Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Process Specialist to contribute to our Life Science projects for clients. This role will involve applying operational knowledge and ensuring compliance with approved Standard Operating Procedures.


The successful candidate will be responsible for sampling products from process equipment, monitoring process trends, and responding to alarms on control panels. They will also provide input for investigations, impact assessments, and CAPA implementation.


In addition, the Chemical Process Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate records according to GMP standards, performing routine equipment cleaning, and maintaining the upkeep of the plant. They will also ensure safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory and global/local EHS policies.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a sound fundamental understanding of process safety, cleaning changeover recipes, and unit operations in API manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • NITEC/ Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical related degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in working in a chemical or GMP manufacturing environment
  • Working experience with DeltaV and MES Systems
  • Able to work comfortably in 12-hour rotating shift (Day/Night)
  • Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
