Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems Technician

The goal of this role is to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) equipment in a warehouse setting. This involves performing routine inspections, diagnosing technical issues, and conducting repairs to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
This position requires strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems. Experience with PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and industrial control systems is also desirable. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
In addition to technical expertise, this role requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed. The selected candidate will participate in cross-functional teams for system upgrades, capacity expansion projects, or process improvements related to ASRS operations.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification in mechatronics, automation, or a related field is preferred. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals is essential. Strong organizational skills, including inventory management and stock replenishment, are also necessary. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.
