The Customer Service Assistant I/II plays a crucial part in our operations, ensuring that passengers receive quality assistance at check-in counters. This includes verifying passenger details against travel documents, handling customer issues related to flight operations and automated check-in systems, and upholding safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality customer service at check-in counters">
  • Verify passenger identities at gates">
  • Verify information on travel documents, passports, and/or visas">
  • Provide support to special needs customers">
  • Handle customer issues related to irregular flight operations">
  • Process customer documentation">
  • Handle customer issues related to automated check-in systems">

Safety and Security:

  • ">
  • Interpret and follow individual safety and security standards in the workplace">
  • Identify and report breaches of safety and security standards in the workplace">
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head">

Operations:

  • Lead and manage boarding gates in coordination with turnaround aircraft activities to ensure safe and timely departure of flights">
  • Monitor and ensure agreed service requirements for airlines are effectively implemented, including boarding sequence and hand baggage collection">
  • Oversee activities at boarding gates, ensuring accurate reconciliation of boarding passes with manifest and passenger boarding figures">
  • Implement airline-specific boarding procedures and announcements to ensure smooth boarding process">
  • Update flight details on gate screens to keep passengers informed and updated">
  • Communicate promptly with FIC/GD/TCO regarding passenger offloads or no-shows">
  • Operate aircraft passenger loading bridges for arriving and departing flights, adhering to safety and operational procedures">
  • Maintain communication with crew and airline representatives to keep stakeholders informed about important flight details">
