Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that quality objectives are met and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain quality control plans and procedures to ensure that projects are executed in accordance with established standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality assurance and control procedures.
  • Identify and report any quality issues or concerns to management and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in quality assurance and control, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Valid welding inspector certification (AWS or CSWIP).
  • Lead auditor certification.
  • Experience working in a fabrication marine shipyard.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
