Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Transportation Specialist to join our team.

This role is ideal for an individual who possesses a valid Class 4 driving license and has experience operating heavy vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods or materials in a timely manner while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Operating heavy vehicles (Class 4 license required)
  • Loading goods onto the truck, ensuring safe transportation and proper handling
  • Collection of goods and empty bins from the terminal
  • Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips, ensuring vehicles are in good working condition
  • Adhering to traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of all road users
  • Maintaining accurate delivery records
  • Assisting with other tasks as required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class 4 driving license
  • Proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver, preferably in a similar role
  • The ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance
  • Good time management skills
  • Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods
