Job Summary:

The FairPrice Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist (Internal Audit) to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk-based audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of our internal controls;
  • Undertake ad-hoc or special reviews, including investigations, to identify areas for improvement;
  • Ensure audit projects are carried out as scheduled and achieve departmental objectives;
  • Provide risk assurance through testing the effectiveness of risk controls;
  • Collaborate with business units to identify and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of business risk and controls, with the ability to articulate pertinent risks and recommend business-focused solutions;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in internal audit or a related field;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to capture and report data accurately and effectively;
  • Good understanding of IT general controls, with experience in using data analytic tools such as Tableau or Google Data Studio an advantage.
