Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate educator to join our team as a lecturer in hair dressing.

The role involves teaching students the art of hair cutting, styling, colouring, perming, shampoo and massage, and other forms of hair services.

As a lecturer, you will play a critical role in recognizing and nurturing your students' potential and their lifelong learning needs.

You will be responsible for carrying out industry or consultancy projects to help you remain relevant in your profession and to evolving changes in the industry.

You will also have the opportunity to have industry attachments or experience on a regular basis to update your skills, knowledge and practices of your profession.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach hair courses to students
  • Carry out industry or consultancy projects
  • Have industry attachments or experience on a regular basis

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a salon as a stylist or colour technician
  • Well-skilled in haircutting, styling, colouring, perming, shampoo and massage, and other forms of hair services
  • Passion for teaching and desire to inspire students
  • Experience in teaching hair courses is an added advantage
