Power Electronics Researcher

We are seeking a skilled researcher to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge power electronics research for renewable energy systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with expertise in power electronics analysis, simulation, and experimental validation. Proficiency in tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSIM is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop topologies and control strategies for DC/DC, DC/AC, and AC/DC power converters.
  • Conduct simulations, experiments, and analysis to advance power conversion solutions for renewable energy systems.
  • Review grid codes and standards, and evaluate compliance of existing or proposed converter solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications to disseminate research outcomes.
  • Contribute to research proposals and project deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, with a strong academic and publication track record.
  • Solid expertise in power electronics analysis, simulation, and experimental validation.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSIM.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.
