UBISOFT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD., a renowned game developer, is seeking an experienced Rendering Expert to join their team in Singapore.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Rendering Programmer who will be responsible for optimizing and developing our rendering engine and data pipeline. As part of our team, you will collaborate with colleagues worldwide from various disciplines, including artists, designers, and other engineers. Your exceptional 3D math skills, knowledge of GPUs, and ability to write efficient code will deliver a stunning visual experience for our players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and develop the rendering engine and data pipeline.
- Collaborate with technical directors and leads on technical design and core technology feature rollout.
- Advise the team on the development of engineering systems across the entire codebase.
- Work with artists, designers, and other engineers to identify systems needing maintenance, optimization, or replacement.
- Coordinate with leads to ensure smooth rollout of new graphical features.
- Review the work of other engineers and provide mentorship.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 years of programming experience.
- Relevant experience working on AAA titles, current and next-gen consoles.
- Mastery of C/C++, with excellent multi-threaded programming techniques.
- A strong understanding of 3D rendering algorithms and related mathematics.
- Excellent knowledge of Direct3D 12 or Vulkan.
- Excellent knowledge of HLSL or GLSL.
- A Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of Assembly and SIMD programming.
- A deep understanding of low-level optimizations, core subsystems, memory management, and cross-platform development.
- Expertise in at least one major platform.
- Experience using game development frameworks and middleware.
- Self-direction, focus, results-oriented thinking, resourceful problem-solving skills.
Estimated Salary:
S$120,000 - S$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
