Executive Culinary Leader Job Opportunity

The role of Executive Culinary Leader is pivotal in driving revenue growth and elevating customer experience through strategic culinary initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to craft innovative menus that harmonize with the restaurant's concept, thereby boosting sales and enhancing branding.
  • Lead a team of chefs in planning and executing menu development, ensuring impeccable dishes and consistent presentation.

To be successful in this position, candidates will require a Degree or Skills Certificate in Culinary Arts/Restaurant Management and Operations, accompanied by a minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferably including experience in managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage kitchen operations, encompassing planning of work schedules and cost control, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Guide and train chefs in the team, identifying and addressing ongoing training needs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct interviews, appraisals, and coaching sessions to foster leadership skills and promote career advancement.

Additional Requirements:

  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities to effectively lead and motivate the team, driving results and achieving goals.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of culinary arts, food safety, and HACCP principles, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in menu design, preparation, and presentation, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.

Candidates comfortable with flexible work hours, including shifts, split shifts, weekends, and public holidays, will be at an advantage.
