Senior Role Overview

Job Description

The Senior HSEQ Manager oversees health, safety, environment, quality, and ICT projects across the LNG and tanker fleet. This senior role requires operational expertise and strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Support the implementation of Safety Management System (ISM, ISPS, MLC) across the fleet.
  • Lead investigations of incidents/accidents and recommend preventive measures.
  • Develop and enhance cyber security of vessel ICT systems.
  • Manage and enhance the company's HSEQ module and ERP-related issues.
  • Monitor and analyze HSEQ KPIs, fleet audits, and inspections to improve fleet performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on ICT strategies, PMS, dry-docking, and procurement processes.
  • Support certification processes, quality document management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement fleetwide policies and procedures for health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize adverse impacts on the environment.
  • Ensure seamless integration of shore-based operations with fleet-wide activities.

 

Requirements:
  • Master Mariner (Deck Class 1 CoC) with sailing experience on LNG/LPG (Ammonia) vessels.
  • Shore-based experience in a major ship management company or oil major.
  • Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC, TMSA, SIRE, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BI tools.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
