Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team as a Technical Drawing Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs, working closely with customers, engineers, supervisors, and coordinators to develop conceptual designs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers to develop conceptual designs.
  • Update working drawings as issued by the project or sales department.
  • Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and cut size drawings for submission and approval.
  • Multi-task drafting work with reasonable time and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.

Key Requirements:
  • Independent and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • More prefer working experience in roofing field and structural decking.
  • Working experience in large scale projects, background in MRT, infrastructure works is an advantage.

Technical Competencies:
  • Understands specifications, drawings, scope, and sequence of works.
  • Coordinates Architectural/Structural drawings for shop drawing submission.
  • Prepares layout and cut size drawings of decking for installation at construction sites.
  • Compiles As-built drawings upon project completion.
  • Has knowledge of architectural/structural drawings with engineering knowledge.
  • Interprets construction drawings for any discrepancies.
  • Coordinates and identifies areas of concerns with design intent.
  • Aware of requirements of relevant authorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD software (2D/3D).
  • Knowledge and proficiency in BIM (Archi/Structure) and Tekla Structure is an advantage.
