Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting translational research activities focused on healthy aging. They will work in the laboratory and within the research offices, assisting in the coordination of IRB submissions and day-to-day research operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and assist in laboratory-based experiments, such as processing biological samples, biomarker assays, and data collection.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, safety protocols, and inventory management.
  • Support IRB application drafting and submission for new and ongoing studies.
  • Coordinate study documentation, ethics compliance, and data governance under PI guidance.
  • Participate in research meetings and contribute to project planning and reporting.
  • Collaborate with clinical and academic teams to ensure seamless integration between lab work and research office activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting and familiarity with clinical or translational research is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of IRB submission processes is a plus.
