Job Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Programme Lead to support the establishment of overall success criteria for complex projects, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters. You will identify and ensure that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health, and environment issues.

You will maintain effective project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project. Key responsibilities include project planning, leading and facilitating the cross-functional project team, managing the change control process, monitoring and advising on project finances, and managing the flow of project information between the team and the client.

You will take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report such opportunities to the appropriate line manager.

You will ensure that key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database. Prompt client invoicing and utilising internal accounting systems will also be your responsibility to monitor a project's financial status.

We require a degree qualification in construction, project management, or a similar function. A minimum of 6 years' experience in the construction of light industrial projects with good knowledge of automated racking systems is necessary. Experience and knowledge of main project management concepts, tools, and techniques are also required.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, meeting often tight deadlines, and working proactively as part of a committed team is essential.
