We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at RESORTS WORLD AT SENTOSA PTE. LTD. as a Culinary Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee Culinary Operations: Manage the day-to-day culinary operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and food cost management.
- Lead the Culinary Team: Supervise, coach, and motivate the culinary team to ensure high-quality food production and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain Quality and Safety Standards: Ensure that the culinary team adheres to health and safety standards, kitchen hygiene protocols, and quality control measures.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a well-stocked kitchen.
- Develop and Implement Menu: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Monitor and Control Food Costs: Analyze and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability.
- Culinary Education and Experience: Certificate in Culinary Skills or equivalent, and at least 4 years of experience in Chinese culinary operations, preferably in BBQ/Roast.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills to lead and motivate the culinary team.
- Technical Skills: Knowledgeable in HACCP, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Culinary Certifications: Possession of culinary certifications, such as HACCP, or equivalent.
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience in leading a culinary team, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations, including financial management, inventory control, and supply chain management.
