The role of a programme management specialist involves supporting the programme management function in adult learner programmes.
Working closely with academic departments, this role ensures smooth programme delivery while maintaining integrity and aligning with established standards.
Responsibilities:- Programme Management: Ensure effective programme execution, prioritizing adult learner needs while adhering to established protocols.
- Support Learners: Deliver exceptional support services for adult learners, including course-related matters, experiential learning, and academic counselling.
- Monitor Student Feedback: Collect and analyse student feedback to inform programme development and improvement initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership within the programme management team, fostering collaboration and open communication.
- Timetable Scheduling and Course Registration: Coordinate course timetables and registration processes, ensuring seamless integration with academic departments.
- Learner Communication: Effectively communicate with adult learners on coursework matters, providing clear guidelines and support.
- Instructor Support: Prepare information for instructors on class enrolment, learner profiles, and teaching guidelines.
- Student Record Management: Monitor learner workload and progress, responding promptly to learner concerns and matters.
- Mid-Term Feedback: Coordinate mid-term feedback sessions, consolidate information, and track follow-up actions.
- Faculty Engagement: Coordinate instructor engagement and provide teaching support through NUS resources and IT systems.
- Mark Upload and Reporting: Ensure timely upload of marks, compile reports, and monitor discrepancies.
- Student Feedback Analysis: Prepare data for the Student Feedback System, compile feedback reports, and monitor follow-ups.
- Office Collaboration: Work closely with other units within the MSc Programmes Office on office projects and events.
- Relevant tertiary education degree and at least 5 years of experience in managing academic programmes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to work effectively in cross-cultural settings.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with an eye for good documentation and ability to manage competing tasks and deadlines.
- Strong team player with high intelligence, emotional quotient, and cultural awareness, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
