Trade Finance Operations Specialist

The role of a Trade Finance Operations Specialist involves end-to-end processing of Import & Export Bills transactions, ensuring operational compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper processing of Trade Finance transactions according to established procedures.
  • Process remittance transactions, including MT202, MT103, MEPS008, and MEPS009.
  • Respond professionally to customer queries on products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of trade finance transactions and file transaction documents in order.
  • Compose SWIFT messages for relevant Trade Finance products and Services.
  • Address exceptions or other duties promptly with superiors.
  • Prepare daily, monthly, MAS, and ad-hoc reports of Trade Finance transactions.
  • Assist in updating the Import & Export Bills Operations Manual.
  • Closely monitor outstanding or pending transactions.
  • Participate in system enhancements, testing, projects, and BCP assignments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in handling trade finance products.
  • Good understanding of AML checking related to trade transactions.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting entries and reporting.
  • Meticulous, careful, positive, and full of responsibility.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
