Pouch Cell Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pouch Cell Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and assembling pouch cells tailored for solid-state battery applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Pouch Cell Design and Development: Lead the design and optimization of pouch cells to ensure optimal performance and reliability for energy storage solutions.
  • Material Preparation: Oversee the preparation of battery materials, including solid electrolytes and electrode components.
  • Cell Assembly: Manage the assembly process of solid-state battery cells, identifying areas for improvement to enhance assembly quality and efficiency.
  • Electrochemical Testing: Conduct comprehensive electrochemical evaluations of assembled cells, analyzing performance metrics and failure mechanisms.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results, preparing technical reports and presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or above in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, or a related field.
  • About 2 years of industrial experience in all-solid-state cell design, testing, data analysis, and failure mechanism analysis.
  • Proficiency in solid-state synthesis techniques, material characterization methods, and electrode/cell fabrication processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with statistical analysis using various software platforms related to battery performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis methodologies.
