Role Responsibilities:
We are seeking a seasoned editor to enhance our global editorial team. The editorial team is responsible for refining chemical industry market reports, strategic analyses, and customized projects, collaborating closely with prominent subject matter experts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in editing industry publications or be a technical writer transitioning into an editorial role. Experience in editing publications related to the chemical or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit English-language publications and projects focused on technical and analytical topics relevant to the global chemical and related industries. Refine raw content from authors, researchers, and consultants for inclusion in industry market reports and consulting projects. Enhance readability by correcting spelling, grammar, text structure, and flow for both technical and non-technical audiences. Verify the accuracy of graphs, tables, flowcharts, and other non-text elements. Utilize existing Word and PowerPoint brand templates and the Drupal content management system. Collaborate effectively with local and global teams to meet stringent publication and project deadlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 4-7 years of editing experience, ideally within the chemical or manufacturing sectors. Strong editorial judgment, including experience editing content authored by non-native English speakers. Familiarity with Drupal or WordPress content management systems is highly desirable. Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities. Proficient in multitasking and managing a substantial workload. Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate publication schedules. Background in the petrochemical industry or experience with industry publications or technical writing is preferred.
