About This Role:
  • Key Responsibilities Include Operating the Steam System in a Safe and Efficient Manner, Complying with IMS Documentation, Maintaining Equipment Efficiency and Safety Through Inspection and Maintenance, Contributing to Pressurized Systems Compliance, Ensuring Data Control Updates, Maintaining Clean and Tidy Workspaces, and Carrying Out Chipping and Painting as Required.
  • This Role Also Involves Checking and Recording Water Tanks, Fuel Oil, and Other Tank Ullages and Quantities as Defined by the Maintenance Superintendent or When Requested.
  • Additionally, You Will Assist During Internal Transfer of Fuel Oil, Contribute to Tanks Bunkering Operations, Perform Water Analysis and Chemical Adjustments as Requested, Assist in All Operations of the Ship's Boilers and Equipment Associated, and Monitor Boiler Operation.
  • You Will Also Inspect Existing Systems for Leaks, Corrosion, and Advise the Engine Room Supervisor About Any Irregularities Found. Regular Attendance at Safety Meetings and Participation in Accident Investigations are Also Expected.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate Ownership of Own Training Requirements and Proactively Arrange Training to be Done/Renewed in Time.
