Job Description:

As a Bakery Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled bakers and production staff to ensure the efficient production of high-quality baked goods. You will oversee all aspects of bakery operations, including production, sales, and personnel management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the bakery staff.
  • Ensuring the quality, consistency, and presentation of baked goods.
  • Developing and testing new recipes.
  • Maintaining and updating recipes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
  • Managing inventory of ingredients and placing orders to prevent shortages.
  • Monitoring product costing and pricing, ensuring profitability.
  • Overseeing and managing the production schedule to meet sales and operational targets.

In addition to your production responsibilities, you will also be involved in:

  • Hiring, training, and supervising bakery staff.
  • Creating staff schedules and managing payroll.
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conducting staff evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Addressing employee performance issues and implementing corrective actions.
