Job Description

As a Technical Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our end-users. Your primary goal will be to ensure smooth operations across all company systems and user endpoints.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-line and second-line technical support to end-users (hardware, software, network, peripherals)
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other user equipment
  • Performing installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, applications, and updates
  • Troubleshooting network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), including routers, switches, VPN, and firewalls
  • Setting up and managing user accounts, access rights, email, and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
  • Providing on-site or remote support for video conferencing systems, printers, and other office equipment
  • Assisting with IT asset deployment (e.g., laptops, phones), imaging, and hardware lifecycle management
  • Maintaining accurate IT asset inventory (hardware, software licenses, warranties, etc.)
  • Creating and updating technical documentation, how-to guides, and knowledge base articles
  • Tracking and managing support requests using a ticketing system
  • Assisting in IT audits, security compliance documentation, and standard operating procedure (SOP) creation
  • Recording incidents, actions taken, and resolutions for future reference and reporting
  • Enforcing and supporting IT security best practices, such as password policies, antivirus, and data encryption
  • Participating in onboarding and offboarding processes (IT orientation, access control, equipment handover)
  • Identifying and escalating potential security threats or vulnerabilities to Direct Superior
  • Assisting in IT projects such as office moves, system upgrades, cloud migrations, and deployments
  • Coordinating with vendors and service providers for external support, repairs, and licensing
  • Supporting regular system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery procedures
