About this Role

This Senior Supply Chain Leader role involves translating the CGT asset strategy into tactical actions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the S&OP planning cycle for accurate and timely planning updates.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the monthly supply planning cycle and governance.
  • Ensure key supply issues and decisions are escalated in a timely manner, aligning with feedback from relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement controls to manage raw materials and finished goods inventory, preventing losses and/or scrap.
  • Facilitate supply chain S&OP discussions and prepare for annual budget cycle discussions.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and functions within the site and platform to ensure supply plans reflect the consensus view of future needs.
  • Connect supply plans with related material, labor, and asset capacity plans through established governance.
  • Maintain supply plans in relevant systems, including SAP IBP and SAP ECC.
  • Ensure warehouse and shipping areas operate in a safe, cGMP manner at all times.
  • Streamline area processes and workflows to increase warehouse efficiency and storage capacity.
  • Develop high-performing SCM teams by actively developing direct reports.
  • Define responsibilities of individuals and groups within CGT SCM operations.
  • Maintain good working relationships with other Lonza teams.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Lead representatives in area audits (internal and external).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Relevant experience in end-to-end Supply Chain, Warehouse roles in Life Sciences GMP, FMCG, Medical Devices.
  • Proven Track Record: Demand and supply planning skills, acquired solution-oriented mindset, complex product life cycle management, process improvement tools and processes.
  • Interpersonal Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Change Management Skills: Change management skills.
  • SAP Knowledge: Understanding of SAP and equivalent management systems.
