Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the daily operation of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of projects, sub-contractors, and resolve daily problems that may arise during and after the course of projects.
  • Policy Implementation: Communicate, implement, and monitor company policies to the project team for effective implementation.
  • Problem Prevention: Identify potential construction problems, instigate preventive measures, standardize, and innovate techniques related to selective construction processes.
  • Contractual and Technical Matters: Review, advise, and resolve contractual and technical matters, and comment on sub-contracts related to projects.
  • Project Reviews: Chair internal project reviews with the project team and report on performance for director's information.
  • Project Planning and Budgeting: Establish, develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, programs, resource allocation, quality plans, environmental issues, and safety plans in accordance with company requirements.
  • Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants for performance and coordination of projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Building, Civil, Structural Engineering, or other construction-related subjects.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial grade in the construction field.
  • Skills: Strong management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Language: Ability to communicate in English and Chinese (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates).
Working Arrangements

Working days: Monday to Saturday (half day).
