Low-Level Software Developer

About the Role:

As a skilled software developer, you will work on designing, developing and maintaining low-latency trading systems.

  • Develop and optimize low-latency trading systems and infrastructure.
  • Write high-performance code in C++ to handle real-time data processing and execution.
  • Work closely with traders, quants, and other engineers to design and implement innovative solutions.
  • Optimize system performance and latency to ensure competitive advantage in the market.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain low-latency trading systems.
  • Optimize existing systems for performance and latency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Conduct performance analysis and tuning of trading infrastructure.
  • Ensure robustness and reliability of trading systems through thorough testing and troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Qualities:

  • Extensive experience with C++ programming, particularly in low-level, high-performance applications.
  • Strong understanding of low-latency and high-frequency trading environments.
  • Experience with real-time data processing and systems optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Background in financial services or trading is a plus but not required.
