Automation and Quality Assurance Role


This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who enjoys both manual testing and automation.

As an Automation and Quality Assurance specialist, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and quality of our software products by conducting a combination of manual and automated testing.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to collaborate closely with developers and UX designers to test functionality, usability, and performance, in addition to creating and executing automated test scripts in Python to enhance testing workflows efficiency and accuracy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing automated test scripts using Python.
  • Creating, maintaining, and executing test cases for APIs to guarantee correct functionality and data integrity.
  • Contributing to the construction of a scalable and reusable automated testing framework.
  • Ensuring automated tests run concurrently with development to detect issues early.

Additionally, your tasks will involve:

  • Writing and executing API test scripts to validate endpoints and responses.
  • Testing API performance under various conditions to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Identifying and documenting API defects and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Collaborating with the development team to conduct early-stage testing as project sections are completed.
  • Implementing a testing strategy to identify issues before full deployment.
  • Working with UX teams to validate new features and ensure smooth functionality.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Performing handson manual testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Identifying usability issues, inconsistencies, or design flaws that affect user interaction.
  • Testing for spelling, punctuation, formatting, and navigation issues.
  • Collaborating with designers and developers to enhance the user interface.

To excel in this position, you should possess strong proficiency in Python for writing automated test scripts, hands-on experience with API testing, familiarity with API testing tools, experience with test automation frameworks, a solid understanding of manual testing principles and user experience testing, attention to detail in identifying usability and functional issues, effective communication skills with development and UX teams, experience with version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
