Procurement Specialist

A Key Role in Procurement

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to play a crucial role in our procurement team. This position is ideal for an individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Material Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of materials required for projects, ensuring timely delivery and optimal pricing.
  • Price Comparison: Conduct thorough price comparisons among multiple suppliers to guarantee the best value for our organization.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange for the transportation of materials and schedule drivers to ensure timely delivery, minimizing any potential delays or disruptions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain strong product knowledge of plumbing hardware and construction materials, enabling informed purchasing decisions.
  • Order Processing: Prepare purchase orders and carefully review invoices and delivery orders for accuracy, ensuring seamless transactions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a secondary education qualification (N level) is required.
  • At least one year of relevant work experience is necessary, preferably in a related field.
  • Familiarity with the Sanitary & Plumbing trade is advantageous but not essential.
