Job Title: Support Therapist

As a key member of our healthcare team, the support therapist will provide vital assistance to licensed therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare patients, materials, and equipment for assessments or therapy sessions, ensuring seamless execution.
    • Support licensed therapists in carrying out exercises and program activities, including group therapy sessions under their supervision.
    • Conduct basic group therapy sessions under the guidance of experienced therapists, honing skills in communication and empathy.
    • Provide crucial assistance during client assessments and treatments, fostering an environment of trust and understanding.
    • Communicate effectively with therapists and associates regarding therapy sessions, reinforcing collaboration and open communication.
    • Support specialty therapy areas and clinical programs as instructed by licensed therapists, embracing adaptability and flexibility.
  • Administrative and Program-Related Duties:
    • Manage inventory levels of therapy equipment and supplies, upholding efficiency and organization.
    • Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are consistently met in therapy areas, including gyms and activity rooms, creating a secure environment for clients and staff alike.
    • Assist with housekeeping duties, guaranteeing equipment is well-maintained, organized, and ready for use.
    • Follow rigorous infection control procedures to safeguard a safe and healthy environment for clients and personnel.
    • Perform routine data entry and other administrative tasks as required, showcasing technical proficiency.
    • Pursue ongoing training and education to enhance client care standards, solidifying professional growth.
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum GCE O-Level certification.
    • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
    • Demonstrate strong service orientation, empathetic listening skills, and excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
    • Display teamwork capabilities, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
