About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced AML Risk Analytics expert to join our team. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Group continuously fulfils its regulatory obligations.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and assess regulatory risks, developing practical solutions that integrate regulations into operational requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping and promoting a stronger compliance culture and literacy within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialize in building visualisation dashboards using data science techniques.
  • Have at least 8 years of relevant job experience, leveraging big data analytics tools and frameworks such as Hive, Spark, and Impala.
  • Collect, parse, manage, analyze and visualize large sets of data to turn information into insights.
  • Develop descriptive/diagnostic data models and collaborate with end-users and other key stakeholders to identify areas requiring support or future model build.
  • Support special/high-priority projects, including building AFC analytical capabilities in response to external requests or internal intelligence.
  • Handle analysis work driven by network linked models.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and advanced analytics, recommending best practices within the bank.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Instill strong Model Governance throughout the model development cycle.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, R, Python.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various business units and functions.
