Job Description">

The role of a Container Registry Software Engineer involves deploying and maintaining workflows around managing lifecycles for container images using industry-standard products like CNCF Harbor.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and meet software solution requirements on time.

  • Manage the container registry platform.
  • Implement security best practices with vulnerability scanning tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engineer within a team that manages a widely used OCI container image platform.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards.
Requirements">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Min. 1+ year (for Analyst) / 3+ years (for Associate) of experience with software engineering with a specific interest and specialization in CI/CD with container deployment and managing container technologies.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, preferably Java, Python and/or Go.
  • Experience in SRE principles, DevOps and associated tooling.
  • Experience with OCI images (Docker) and how to build these using Dockerfile or Containerfile.
  • A good understanding of SDLC (preferably with GitLab or GitHub).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills">
  • Experience with container registry products like Harbor or Distribution Registry.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools and security best practices for containerized applications.
  • An understanding of public cloud provisioning.
  • Experience with Unix and scripting.
