Job Title: Software Architect

Role Overview

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to lead ambitious technological challenges in the corporate banking arm of a global financial institution. As an architect, you will empower your team to bring sustainable competitive advantage on the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical studies into proposed solutions involving infrastructure big data experts, business analysts and requirements.
  • Document proposed designs and develop solutions ensuring all CI-CD artefacts are part of the solution.
  • Perform code reviews fostering knowledge and coaching best practices to team members.
  • Interact and provide reports to project managers.
  • Monitor technical risks and escalate appropriately to management.
  • Research design and develop software analysing user needs.
  • Update software enhance existing software capabilities direct testing and validation procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology Programming & Systems Analysis or Science (Computer Studies).
  • 5+ years in Software development.
  • 3+ years in Java/J2EE development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both team members and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient software development life cycle.
  • Appetite to follow technology trends participate in communities.
