Rainforest Conservationist

Join our mission to protect the delicate balance of nature in New Zealand's cloud-forest ecosystem. This conservation project focuses on preserving the habitat of the endangered kiwi bird and other unique species.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities that contribute to restoring protected natural ecosystems. These include:

• Creating access trails to enable better navigation of the forest
• Protecting native species from invasive pests
• Planting native trees to promote biodiversity
• Monitoring pest numbers and developing strategies for their control

Our team works closely with local communities and experts in the field to ensure that our efforts are effective and sustainable. As an intern, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to make a meaningful contribution to this project.

You will also have the chance to engage in hands-on conservation work, exploring different forests with unique characteristics and learning about the importance of sustainability and living off-grid. This is a rare opportunity to gain practical experience and develop your skills in conservation, leadership, and project management.
