Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Financial Markets Analyst to conduct in-depth research on companies and industries, evaluate investment opportunities, and provide investment recommendations to our portfolio managers.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and a proven track record of successful stock analysis and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bottom-up fundamental research on companies and industries to evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including building and maintaining financial models.
  • Develop investment theses and make investment recommendations for portfolio managers.
  • Monitor existing portfolio holdings and track relevant industry trends.
  • Prepare comprehensive research reports and present investment ideas to the investment team.
  • Participate in management meetings, earnings calls, and industry conferences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is often preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Markets Analyst or in a similar role with a proven track record of successful stock analysis and recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and present clear, concise investment recommendations.
  • Demonstrated passion for financial markets and investing.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of SGD $80,000 - SGD $120,000 per annum, plus performance-based bonuses.
