At the heart of a successful school lies a robust audio-visual (AV) system. This complex setup requires meticulous planning, thorough execution, and ongoing maintenance to ensure seamless operations during lessons, events, and other activities.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Support Specialist to join our team in this mission-critical role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our AV equipment, guaranteeing that all systems function optimally at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage PA system issues and maintenance within the school premises, working with external vendors when necessary for unresolved problems, installations, maintenance, and/or repairs.
  • Provide AV/Multimedia technical support to staff to facilitate lesson delivery, CCA, exams, meetings, and school events/functions.
  • Ensure effective management of AV equipment during school events, meetings, and exams, including set-ups as requested by school staff.
  • Maintain inventory and loan records of AV and PA-related equipment, perform checks on inventory.
  • Collaborate closely with the ICT team (ICT Manager/Associate, Desktop Engineers) on AV/Multimedia requirements and support required by staff, students, and the Infocomm Club (CCA).
  • Troubleshoot and provide AV solutions; take initiative to explore new ways of solving AV & broadcast-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant certification in audio, video, or media production fields.
  • One year of working experience with AV equipment.
  • One year of working experience with broadcasting events.
  • One year of working experience in a school-based environment.
