Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Component Overhaul Specialist to join our Remanufacturing & Overhaul team in Singapore. This role is workshop-based and focused on the repair, overhaul, and testing of key engine components that support both classic and modern fleets in the region.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diesel engine component overhaul or mechanical maintenance and be proficient in using common workshop tools. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential for this role.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Perform mechanical repair, disassembly, reassembly, and overhaul of diesel engine components following OEM standards.
  • Ensure all repair work meets quality and turnaround time targets.
  • Support engine/component troubleshooting and functional testing during bench-test activities.
  • Apply knowledge of fuel system components such as injectors, fuel pumps, and governors (added advantage).
  • Conduct improvement projects to enhance productivity, safety, or process efficiency within the workshop.
  • Liaise with Supervisors for technical clarifications when needed.
  • Comply with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and internal safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma / NITEC / ITE in Marine Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in diesel engine component overhaul or mechanical maintenance.
  • Proficient in using common workshop tools.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • A team player with a collaborative and safety-first mindset.
