Technical Business Analyst Role

This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in Avaloq systems, including programming skills and workflow actions.

Job Description
  • Analyse complex business requirements and transform them into efficient technical solutions.
  • Map the requirements to Avaloq object models and workflows, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Avaloq programming skills, including scripting, parameterization, and data analysis.
  1. Avaloq workflow actions and automation.
  2. Usage of DDIC (data dictionary) for accurate data management.
  3. Report writer and data visualization expert.
  4. Avaloq Messaging Interface (AMI / Web Services / API setups) for secure data exchange.
  5. Rules setup (costs, accounting) for effective financial management.
  • Experience with SQL and PL/SQL programming for database management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ops Stream: Knowledgeable on Avaloq modules, including STEX, Security events/transactions, Settlements, Payments, Incoming Payment and Money Transfer.
  • Wealth management business know-how about product flows - Cash EQ, AQDQ, Structured Products, Fixed Income product setups like Bonds and Funds.
  • Knowledge in SWIFT setups and Corporate Actions.
  • Advice/statements setups.
  • KYC Related Dev Areas: Good knowledge on SDA (static data analysis) stream (Person, BP, Container, MACC, Address) and CRM desk.
  • Business know-how about Client onboarding, offboarding, KYC procedures, questionnaires, client suitability checks etc.
Desirable Skills
  • Certification as an ACP will be useful reference.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, testers.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Avaloq batch jobs etc.
