Wayfinding and Signage Design Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced wayfinding and signage designer to join our creative design team focused on creating intuitive and visually appealing wayfinding systems within hospitality environments and mixed-use developments.


Job Summary:


As a key member of the team, you will develop engaging wayfinding strategies and impactful signage design systems while collaborating closely with interior designers, architects, and other stakeholders to create innovative solutions that align with project goals and brand identities.

You will be responsible for managing the entire design process from conceptualization through to tender coordination and final installation.

And your expertise in materials, production techniques, and installation methods will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing projects from concept to implementation, guiding designers, managing project deliverables, and consultants. Developing user-centric wayfinding concepts. Strong in strategic design thinking for wayfinding strategies and systems.

Strong in design conceptualization through meaningful stories with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and ideas to clients and stakeholders.

Excellent presentation skills with direct experience presenting to clients. Collaborating with clients, designers, and stakeholders to gather project requirements, present design work, and address project-specific challenges. Ability to visualize and document ideas in 2D and 3D. Strong illustration, typography, composition, and information design skills. Experience with planning, documentation, and management of wayfinding and signage projects. Familiarity with architectural construction documents, sections, plans, and elevations, proficiency in drawing in scale. Working knowledge of print production, signage fabrication, and materials, along with vendor management. Assisting clients with the tender procurement process. Monitoring contractors' fabrication and installation process by conducting site visits to ensuring adherence to design intent.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, architecture, or similar. Minimum of 5 years professional experience in wayfinding design, ideally with a focus on hospitality projects and large-scale developments. Proven experience and portfolio of wayfinding and signage design projects. Singaporean/Singapore PR (no visa sponsorship required). Strong understanding of materials, production techniques, and installation methods. Knowledge of local regulations and standards for signage and wayfinding. Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Knowledge of CAD tools, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other 3D programs preferred. Fluency in English. Mandarin Chinese would be an advantage.
