Job Description:

Hao Hong Construction PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of foreign workers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage foreign worker payroll administration, including timely renewal and cancellation of work permits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of foreign workers, including their employment history and benefits.
  • Coordinate with site staff to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding of foreign workers, including preparing offer letters and conducting orientation training.
  • Perform monthly payroll computation, including normal pay, allowances, overtime pay, salary advances, and deductions.
  • Reconcile errors to ensure accuracy of working hours and other relevant data.
  • Prepare payroll and costing reports, as well as disseminate cost charging information to respective projects.
  • Administer MYE application and related matters.
  • Assist in workers' sick leave and medical claims matters, including verification of bills and follow-up with hospitals.
  • Follow up promptly on government application of foreign worker levy waiver.
  • Carry out periodic checking of workers' passport expiry dates.
  • Follow up on foreign worker performance appraisals and updates accordingly.
  • Handle worker dormitory matters.
  • Follow up on manpower request from project sites through paperwork follow-up (manpower requisition form).
  • Handle subcontractor billing and back-charging of costs such as workers' uniforms.
  • Handle foreign worker and sub-contractor queries in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Estimated Salary: SGD $45,000 - SGD $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
