Job Description

As a seasoned Project Management Office (PMO) professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving the pre-study phase of a core banking transformation initiative. This involves spearheading project governance, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment between business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support planning and execution of pre-study activities across multiple workstreams
  • Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, and milestone trackers
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and steering committees
  • Track and report progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ensure documentation of scope, requirements, and decisions
  • Coordinate with business analysts, architects, and vendor teams
  • Assist in resource planning and budget forecasting
  • Maintain alignment with regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations
  • Support change management and communication efforts
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field
  • Korean-speaking candidates preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles
  • Experience in banking or financial services, preferably in core banking projects
  • Familiarity with pre-study or feasibility phases of large-scale transformations
  • Strong understanding of project governance frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint
Forecasting and Management Skills
