Risk Manager for APAC Payments Hub

We are establishing our APAC hub in Singapore and seek a Risk Manager to lead the risk function for our regional business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an Enterprise Risk Management framework in line with MAS guidelines.
  • Oversee operational and technology risk across transaction processing, safeguarding, incident management, and system resilience.
  • Manage financial and liquidity risks, including oversight of customer fund safeguarding and treasury exposures.
  • Build and enhance fraud and financial crime controls, ensuring compliance with MAS scam/fraud prevention expectations.
  • Partner with business and product teams to assess risks for new products, features, and integrations.
  • Provide regular risk reporting to senior management and board committees.
  • Drive a risk-aware culture across the business, embedding risk thinking into daily operations.
Requirements
  • 8+ years in risk management within payments, fintech, or banking.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore's regulatory landscape.

A fast-growing global payments platform is expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific region and seeks a seasoned professional to drive risk management strategies.

This role requires a deep understanding of risk management principles and practices, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and implement effective risk management frameworks, identify and mitigate potential risks, and provide strategic guidance to senior management.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in risk management, preferably within the payments, fintech, or banking sectors. Strong knowledge of Singapore's regulatory landscape is essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
