The role of a Financial Market Strategist is to provide expert advice and guidance on investment opportunities, market trends, and risk management. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to understand complex financial data and communicate it effectively to clients.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial markets, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives. They will be able to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop strategies to maximize returns while minimizing risk.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and onboarding new clients
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients
- Providing market insights, trade ideas, and investment strategies to clients
- Enabling clients to make informed financial decisions
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Degree holder in a related field (e.g., finance, business)
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or a related field
- CMFAS qualifications and a valid MAS Representative License
- Proven sales track record and dealing with mass affluent individuals
- Good understanding of equities and various asset classes
