Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

This role involves managing the full deal cycle, structuring long-term contracts for raw materials and feedstocks, developing a long-term product placement strategy, vetting and designing contractual terms and conditions in coordination with legal, actual sourcing and buying & selling materials, engaging with vendors, several stake owners, and off-takers.

You will play a key role in driving growth, optimizing procurement strategies, and executing end-to-end transactions across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Long-Term Contracts Strategy: Factoring global demand and supply conditions in the petroleum and petrochemical space.
  • Identify Off-Takes and Build Strategic Partnerships: To ensure stable demand and competitive pricing.
  • Source Materials and Negotiate Terms: With suppliers and vendors to optimize supply reliability and cost.
  • Conduct Commercial Studies: On market trends, pricing benchmarks, and trade flows to inform deal strategy.
  • Negotiate Long-Term Supply Agreements: Sales contracts, and JV arrangements.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: To ensure seamless execution of deals.
  • Maintain Strong Industry Relationships: To monitor competitor activity and explore new growth opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In business, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: In business development, particularly in petroleum and petrochemical products.
  • Strong Background: In transactional deal-making, vendor/off-taker management, and commercial negotiations.
  • Proven Experience: In structuring long-term contracts and managing both buy and sell sides of transactions.
  • Excellent Market Knowledge: And understanding of regional/international supply and demand dynamics.
  • Highly Analytical: With strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to Work Independently: And make decisions in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
